Quick Reference Guide to Search

Finding Business Listings:
Select the yellow Business tab on the search bar, and provide as much information as you can. Then click "Search". It is not mandatory to complete every field.

Locate by Company Name Only:
If you only know the name of the company, or even the sound of the Company name, provide it in the space requested. Then click "Search". You can browse and sort the results to narrow your search by type of business, location, and even spelling. (i.e. Entering only "A1" in the Company name box will generate a listing of all "A1's" in the province, which you can further sort and browse.)

Locate by Type of Business Only:
If you are seeking listings for a particular business category, simply type the category into the "Category" box. If you are not sure of the exact category name click on the "Category" link for a complete list of all headings. To help narrow down the results with the initial search, enter in the City/Town that you will be shopping in. Then click "Search". From there, you can refine your results by location, Map all locations, or browse related categories to ensure that you find the best results for your specific search.

Business Search Results:
Upon clicking SEARCH, you will be delivered a primary listing of the best matches for your search, ranked in order of relevance. You will also see a series of sorting, refining and location options on the right hand side.

Map These Locations:
Clicking this feature will show all map-enabled businesses on one interactive map. The map shows the local area surrounding the businesses and includes a scale to adjust the detail. Only businesses with a listed street address will appear; unfortunately at this time we are not able to map Cellular or PO Box locations.

To Sort Alphabetically:
Above the results you will see the complete alphabet. Simply click on any letter of the alphabet to sort your results by that letter.

Refining Results by Location:
A list of locations which contain a listing that shares the name you are seeking is located at the right hand side of the Results Page. The list is ranked by quantity of results for each location. Simply select a location to view a list of results for that area only.

Refining Results by Business Category:
On the right side of the page, a list of related Business Categories that may be of interest to you based on your original search will be displayed. Simply click on a specific business category to view results for that type of business.

Using Alternate Suggestions:
In events where no results for a search term can be found, or where there exists similar sounding words as the one being searched for, a list of suggestions will be displayed to assist you in finding the correct listing. Simply click on a suggestion to view related listings, and begin refining your search based on the suggestion.

More Information Page:
Almost every business that is listed at www.sasktelphonebook.com has a “More Information” page. Accessing this information can be easily done by clicking on any of the highlighted links for that particular business. This section brings all Contact Information, Business Categories, Maps, as well as all applicable links to Web Sites, E-mail, Yellow Section Ads, and Coupons together on one page.
