Manfred Joehnck
CTV Personality Picture

With 28 years of combined radio and television broadcasting experience, Manfred Joehnck is a familiar face to Southern Saskatchewan viewers as the Co-Anchor of the CTV News @ Noon and the CTV News Six O'Clock Report.

Born in British Columbia, and raised in Alberta, Manfred graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (S.A.I.T) with a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism.

Manfred worked as a radio News Director for 14 years before joining CTV Regina in 1993. His past news roles include: Assignment Editor, Crime and Court Reporter, and the Reporter and Producer of Crimestoppers. In the fall of 2001, Manfred became the CTV Regina News Co-Anchor.

Manfred is an active member of the community, and is the recipient of an Appreciation Award from the Crimestoppers board for excellence in coverage.


Carla Beynon
CTV Personality Picture

Carla Beynon is Co-Anchor of CTV Regina's Six O'Clock Report. Born and raised at the base of the Rocky Mountains near Cochrane, Alberta. She studied Broadcasting at Mount Royal College in Calgary, Alberta.

Carla joined CTV Yorkton in 2005 and by 2006, she would become a Video Journalist and Late Night Anchor with CTV Regina.

Carla is committed to providing people with the news they need to know and she is elated to be a member of Saskatchewan's #1 news team.


Angel Blair

Angel Blair is the Weather Anchor at CTV Regina.

Angel joined CTV in 2003 as a Video Journalist and Anchor.

Born and raised on a farm near Oxbow, Saskatchewan, Angel studied broadcasting and media relations in Brandon, Manitoba.

Angel is committed to continuing CTV Regina's tradition of providing the most trusted and dependable weather coverage in Southern Saskatchewan.


Lee Jones
CTV Personality Picture

Born in England but raised in Alberta, CTV Sports Director, Lee Jones is a proud member of the Sports team.

After graduating with honours from the journalism program at N.A.I.T. (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), Lee's first broadcasting job was at CTV Yorkton, where he reported on everything from farming to sports. Lee joined CTV Regina in the Fall of 2001.

In addition to taking an active role in community events, Lee is dedicated to bringing Southern Saskatchewan the best local sports coverage possible.



Nelson Bird
CTV Personality Picture

Nelson Bird is News Reporter, Aboriginal Affairs Specialist, and Host and Co-Producer of CTV Saskatchewan's weekly current affairs program Indigenous Circle.

Originally from the Peepeekisis First Nation in southern Saskatchewan, Nelson holds a degree in Journalism and a degree in Indian Studies from the University of Regina. He also has a certificate in Communication Arts from the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College.

Prior to joining CTV in 1998, Nelson worked as a Refrigeration and Steam Engineer with the Provincial government and freelanced as a writer with numerous magazines and newspapers. He enjoys journalistic challenges and frequently works on CTV News documentaries, which require International travel. Nelson's most recent adventure was documenting Indigenous lifestyles in the South Pacific.

Nelson spends a lot of his time encouraging young people to stay in school and to follow their dreams. He frequently emcees events and is often asked to speak at schools and colleges. Nelson's First Nations culture is extremely important to him and he is always willing to share it with anyone who will listen. Indigenous Circle has allowed Nelson to bridge many gaps between aboriginal and non-aboriginal people.


Jason Matity
CTV Personality Picture

Jason Matity is the Assignment Editor at CTV Regina.

Jason was born and raised in Whitewood, Saskatchewan, a small rural community east of Regina.

He minored in history and political science before completing a Journalism Degree at the University Of Regina. Jason joined CTV Regina in 1997 as a Farm Reporter, moving into general assignment reporting in 1999 and Rural Issues in 2001.

Prior to CTV, his broadcast experience included an internship and contracts in broadcast television, along with stints in local newspaper and radio journalism. Jason enjoys tennis, running and fishing. He also volunteers around the city.


Wayne Mantyka
CTV Personality Picture

Wayne Mantyka is a Reporter at CTV Regina.

Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Wayne began his broadcasting career in 1972 as a radio reporter in rural Saskatchewan. Later that year, he moved to a Regina radio station.

He joined the CTV Regina news team in 1975. Wayne actively volunteers in the Regina school system.


Chris Hodges
CTV Personality Picture

Chris Hodges is a Video Journalist and TSN Sports Anchor with CTV Regina.

Prior to joining CTV Regina in 2003, Chris was Sports Director at Northern Cablevision. He has worked in news and sports at a Peace River, Alberta radio station.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Chris is a graduate of the broadcast journalism program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), in Calgary, Alberta.

Chris is a carded baseball umpire and volleyball official. Passionate in his support of youth and sport, he's been officiating amateur sports for a number of years.


Dan McIntosh
CTV Personality Picture

Dan McIntosh is a Video Journalist with CTV Regina.

Dan was born in the United States and raised in Canada. A graduate of the business/marketing and radio/television programs at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, he started his broadcast career in Swift Current in 2001. He moved on to an anchor position in Medicine Hat. He joined CTV in 2005

Dan is an avid sports fan and competitor.


J.C. Garden
CTV Personality Picture

J.C. Garden is a Video Journalist and Anchor with CTV Regina.

Raised in Saskatchewan, J.C. went on to graduate with a bachelors of arts degree in Journalism from the University of Regina. He served an internship with CTV Regina in 2003, and joined the news department full time in 2004.

J.C. likes the surprises he experiences in his career - each day there's a new story to cover and new people to meet. A pet lover, J.C. enjoys going for walks with his dog.


Lindsey Hoemsen
CTV Personality Picture

Lindsey Hoemsen is a Video Journalist and Anchor with CTV Regina.

Lindsey was born and raised in Saskatchewan. In 1999, she served a high school internship at CTV Regina. She would go on to work in radio and then graduate with honours from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, earning a diploma in Broadcast Journalism. Before joining CTV Regina in 2005, Lindsey was a Video Journalist at CTV Saskatoon and CTV Yorkton.

Lindsey is proud to serve her hometown and is committed to bringing the people of Saskatchewan the news that matters most to them.


Dale Hunter
CTV Personality Picture

Dale Hunter is a Video Journalist at CTV Regina.

Hunter has more than a decade of experience in radio and television broadcast both as a reporter and an anchor. He has covered news in Yorkton, Prince Albert, and Southwestern Saskatchewan, before making his way to the provincial capital in the summer of 2008.

Since joining the team at CTV Regina, Hunter has proven to be a versatile journalist, covering everything from legislative debates to house fires.

Outside of work, Hunter enjoys touring the province, visiting friends, and reading.
