Cypress Health Region Appoints Interim CEO
As of April 1, Beth Vachon will assume the responsibility of interim CEO for the Cypress Health Region. Vachon is the current Executive Director of Community Health Services for the CHR and has been with the Region for 25 years.

Jim Hornell Attends His Final Cypress Health Region Board Meeting
Outgoing CEO Jim Hornell bid farewell to the Cypress Health Region Board on Wednesday. Hornell is wrapping up his finals days as the CEO before moving onto his new career position in Brantford Ontario in April.

SaskEnergy Boasts the Lowest Natural Gas Commodity Rates
Thanks to current market conditions, SaskEnergy can continue to offer its Provincial customers the lowest natural gas commodity rates since 2001. According SaskEnergy officials, the Crown utilty lowered its commodity rate by 13 percent to $5.21/gigajoule back on November 1, 2009, its lowest rate in eight years.

Southwest TV News Celebrates 5th Anniversary
Southwest TV News is into its 5th year of providing local television news for the residents of Southwest Saskatchewan. Since launching in March of 2005, Southwest TV New has become a leader in its on-line video news service and has expanded over the years to include Province wide distribution on Sask Tel Max Local on Demand and Nationally through SCN- The Saskatchewan Communications Network. Southwest TV News has received a number of awards over the years including the RTNDA Best Use of New Media Award- Prairie Region/TV.

Behind the Scenes Work Underway at the Credit Union iplex
As the 2010 Ford World Curling Championship draws near for the host City of Swift Current, behind the scenes preparation for the nine day event are already underway. Electrical contractors have been on site for the past several days ensuring sufficient electrical requirements are met for all in coming media and Keith's Patch.

Swift Current Broncos are off to the Playoffs
After downing the Prince Albert Raiders 5-2 last night on the road, the Swift Current Broncos have been guaranteed a WHL playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. The Broncos will wrap up the season Saturday night on home ice hosting the Moose Jaw Warriors.

Swift Current Set to Host SHSAA 4A Girls Basketball
The Swift Current Comprehensive High School will be the host sight of the 2010 SHSAA 4A Girls Basketball Regional Championship this weekend. Teams from Regina, Balgonie and Estevan will be in town for the two day tournament.

Sunshine Back in the Southwest Forecast
Following several days of Cloudy conditions, Southwest residents will be basking in the Sunshine again as of of Today. Environment Canada is calling for Sunshine and Mild temperatures through the weekend. Today's expected High is +2; +7 for Friday and +10 for Saturday.
