Story compels more than just viewers

A story by CTV reporter Dan McIntosh has won a national award.

Airing last November, the report chronicled the village of Pangman's fight to save its school.

It focused on a group of local farmers who planted, grew, harvested, and sold grain...as a fundraiser for the embattled school.

Over the weekend, the national R.T.N.D.A. awards were handed out...and McIntosh's report was named 'Best Short Feature' for a medium market.
